“I bought a gun to protect my family.”
Calm, simple, ready, even if you don't live at the range. When seconds count, there's no button to find in the dark.
ENTERNo button to find. No grip to perfect. The CTL-200 turns the laser on the moment you bring the gun up toward the target, and off when you lower it. That's the whole idea.
"The team at Combat Tactical Laser have taken the rail-mounted laser a quantum leap beyond anything else I have used."
CTL stands for Combat Tactical Laser, creator of the CTL-200 MALTS™ motion-activated laser targeting system. The CTL-200 turns the laser on and off based on the weapon's motion and orientation, so the dot is on target the moment you aim.
Calm, simple, ready, even if you don't live at the range. When seconds count, there's no button to find in the dark.
ENTERNo button, no grip strength, no special holster. Arthritis, weak hands, an old injury: it asks nothing of your hands.
ENTERA bright green dot shows every mistake the moment you make it, so you fix it on the next rep, not next month.
ENTER“I've also found them useful during my time as church security to pinpoint the wolf among the sheep.”
Level the gun downrange and the green dot is on the target. Lower it to High Ready, Low Ready, or turn it to the side, and the laser switches off. The patent-pending MALTS™ system reads the firearm's motion and orientation and turns the laser on and off for you. There's no button, no grip squeeze, no mode to set.
“There are no cords, switches or manual activation buttons to think about while drawing or shooting.”
Raise, dot appears, lower, off. No button in the middle, no grip squeeze. The laser does the work.
Hey, it's Jake with CTL, and I'm going to show you how the CTL-200 activates using no buttons or switches. First of all, the laser is fully on and active, but in the down position there is no activation, to prevent accidental discharges. Upon raising the gun to parallel, the laser will automatically activate to get on target, and deactivate when down. Another example: it is off in a high ready position, but when presented on target it automatically activates for you to get on target. Lastly, and maybe most importantly, if the gun is canted beyond parallel the laser automatically deactivates, and reactivates when presented on target. Another prime example is when working in closed spaces at a compressed high ready: the laser will deactivate and reactivate on presentation. Now we're going to go out on the range and show how these functions work under live fire.

Every other laser on the market asks you to do one more thing under pressure. CTL-200 just works when you bring the gun up.

Does it fit your firearm? The CTL-200 ships with adapter cleats for most Picatinny and Weaver rails. If yours has a standard rail, you're most likely good to go.

Setting up at an indoor range, then firing with the CTL-200; the green dot is on the target each time the pistol levels. "You are not supposed to shoot better than the owner! Wow, I've never shot with a laser. I've never seen anything like that before. My name is Dale Lowenstein. Been shooting here for a year. I've never seen anything like that. Appreciate you, brother. Great job. That thing's unbelievable."
Setting up at an indoor range, then firing with the CTL-200; the green dot tracks the target through each string. "My name is Lenny Steart. Atlanta, Georgia. It's not bad. I'm interested in how I can get one. So yeah, give it a try. That's what I'm gonna do."
"All right, you ready?" Firing with the CTL-200. "Whoa, hey, that's quick! That is quick. Like, it's off right now, you can see. Bro, that is lightning. That was quick." "Yeah, I like this. This is nice. That's very intuitive, too. It does most of the work for you, so you don't have to second-guess it. One thing I've noticed: everybody knows I shoot with my flashlight. And I love the fact that it's easy manipulation with my thumb, but the ability to take that completely out, so once I'm here, I'm up, and I don't have to worry about it. The grip is the most important thing. So if I don't have to worry about changing my grip to do one or two small things, this is it. I like it. They sold me."
This is exactly what I needed. No fumbling of buttons. Lift and point and comes on. My spouse loves it even more than I do. Now its easier for her to see exactly where she is shooting. Great product!!!
Mounted it on my Glock 19 for USPSA. The auto-on when I raise is faster than any pressure switch I've used. Zeroed in 5 minutes. Absolutely dialed.
My wife and I both use it for home defense. The fact that it's always ready — no button to find in the dark — gives us real peace of mind. Worth every penny.
Oh damn! It's a whole package! Nice! You guys did this right!!! Challenge coin is a fantastic choice! Top notch!
This is game-changing.
Lightning fast—it does most of the work for you. You don’t have to fight against it. Very intuitive.
CTL has the obvious advantages — Instant ON, Bright Green, ONE HAND, from ANY stance. It allows the owner to self-teach trigger manipulation WITHOUT the explosion, flash, and recoil of range use, AND to move while shooting. No instructor required. No ammo required. If anyone asks about cost, list the prices of ear and eye pro, range fees, instructor fees, ammo, and time — then compare.
The laser mounted well — I put it on an MP 40. I love the way you turn it off and on, the way it wakes up when you raise it to the target without having to turn a switch on. Saves a lot of time. Shot with it a few times and it seems pretty accurate. Overall a great addition to my collection. Going to buy another for my other gun. I recommend this laser to everyone.
Real shooters, real range time.

Connect USB-C cable. Full charge in ~2 hours. LED indicator shows battery status.
Slide onto most Picatinny or Weaver rails using the included adapter cleats. No tools. Quick tool-free install.
Your CTL-200 has no ON/OFF switch. During shipment, your laser is disabled. After charging your laser, it enters Active/ON Mode and is ready to use.
Raise your weapon. Laser is on. Lower or set down — laser is off. That's it.
The CTL-200 isn't an either/or. Run it alongside your red dot or irons: the laser gives you a fast, eyes-on-target reference the moment you raise, and your optic does what it already does well. Better together, not instead of.
One tool, many hands. Here's why the CTL-200 wins with the people who carry it.
| Who | Why it wins |
|---|---|
| Home defense | Works around corners, cover, and awkward angles where you can't get behind an optic, and off by itself when you're not engaging. See the home defense page |
| Adaptive & limited mobility | No button, no grip strength, no special holster. Arthritis, weak hands, or an old injury: it still just works. See the adaptive page |
| Training & range | Every flinch and push visible on the target the moment it happens, so the next rep is a corrected rep. See the training page |
| Concealed carry | Carry the way you trained. The dot is on target as soon as the gun levels, including the non-ideal draws real life hands you. |
| Women | Visible-dot feedback that helps newer shooters build confidence, with no strength-dependent activation. |
| Veterans | Familiar handling and no new manual of arms to learn: raise the gun and the dot is there. |
| Private security | A dot on target from a ready position, with nothing to press under stress, and dark again the moment the gun comes down. |
| Hunting & crossbow | Air rifles, crossbows, and sport platforms with a rail. Quiet, hands-free aiming. See the hunting page |
